The Public Policy Chair informs and engages the Association in decision making procedures ensuring that national, state, and local policies and decisions be guided of principles of Excellence, Access, Equity, Diversity, and Accountability. Chair shall act as a liaison between NAEYC and CAEYC public policy committees and current legislation for the San Diego Association Board and membership.

Here it is! We hope you can join us on our Speak out for Children event on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Join others in the community who want to make a difference for children and families. This free educational advocacy event provides information on the legislative process, current legislation and new initiatives affecting early childhood educators and families. Learn how to educate your legislators about the needs of children and child care programs. In addition, participants will learn how to connect with local advocacy groups and access a wide variety of public policy resources and professional growth opportunities. Special invited guests include San Diego County State Assembly and Senate Members. Motivate yourself and others to take action and Speak Out For Children!
