Join Ramona Moreno Winner in exploring cultural practices and traditions that drive individuals and whole cultural groups.  Celebrate our diverse population and learn how to promote cultural discussion while meeting core curriculum requirements in Language Arts, Science, Social Sciences and History.  Ramona’s presentation effectively promotes breaking down barriers of ignorance that can create fear and dissension.  This is a very interactive and fast-paced workshop.  Come with a sense of adventure and an appetite for the unusual. Grades K-12.

Ramona Moreno Winner is an accomplished speaker and has traveled to 14 different countries where she has experienced being a non-speaker of the local language and a minority.  An award winning author of children’s bilingual books, and president of a small publishing company, Ramona’s mission is to plant seeds of tolerance and acceptance.
