Making It Happen For Kids in San Diego!

        It is an exciting time for early childhood professionals. This year is the time to get involved in your local SDAEYC organization. Over the past few months we have seen an intensified national movement toward universal preschool in several states, proposed quality rating systems, and legislation debated that affects children and families. Additionally, a national information campaign that acknowledges that learning begins at birth is underway. Each of these issues has the potential to impact not only the field of early care and education, but your role as an educator and mentor. Joining SDAEYC will ensure that you have the latest and most relevant information in regard to changes occurring in the field. By becoming informed, you can make a difference and advocate for the best possible early experiences for all children. To become a member of SDAEYC you first join the national organization NAEYC. At that time you will have the opportunity to choose SDAEYC as your local affiliate. You will also automatically become a member of the state organization CAEYC at no additional charge.
