The Chair serves as a liaison between the Colleges and the Association. Will inform College Instructors about San Diego AEYC and membership benefits for students and recruit college instructors to become members of the Association. Will also develop an effective outreach plan via letters to college instructors, as well as to be available to present at community colleges and delegate speaking arrangements.
Historian

The Historian Chair shall maintain the Association archives housed at San Diego State University. Historians answer queries related to past events related to children’s programs or family-related issues, both in their own geographic area and in relation to state and national historical context.
Parent Education

The Parent Education Chair will act as a bridge between the Association and the families of San Diego County.
Planning and Financial Management

Consists of the Chair, President, President-Elect, Treasurer, and Members-at-Large to propose budgets and fiscal policies for full Board of Directors approval.
Spanish Community
The Chair serves as a liaison between the Spanish Community and the Association by assisting in providing translations for the Newsletter’s President’s Message. The Chair assists in finding Spanish speaking presenters for Association workshops and conferences to connect the Spanish community with Association events as well as sharing resources and information with the Spanish community.
State Representative Region 6
The affiliate Board Member represents Region 6 at the CAEYC board meetings and acts as liaison between Region 6 and the state board of directors.
