Get college units for attending and doing coursework as part of the San Diego AEYC Fall Conference!

Dear students and potential students,

A half a unit of child development coursework is available in conjunction with the SDAEYC conference.  Arrangements must be made in advance.

  • If you aren’t a current student in the San Diego Community College District the first step is to enroll in San Diego City College https://applyonline.communitycollege.net/studentappview.cfm
    • It will be a quicker process if you do not enter past college attendance (otherwise you will have to have transcripts sent to the college).
  • You must pay all current college fees.
  • For official information and clarification, see the college website or call numbers that are on the registration page (link above).
  • There are waivers for some fees, and various conditions can impact your fees, including residency.  The basic fee is $46.00 per unit so this course will be $23. There is a $1.00 student representation fee and the health services fee is $19 per semester.  You may use campus facilities for the rest of the semester as a current student.

To be able to enroll in the class you must receive a “CSID” # demonstrating completion of the enrollment process before the day of the conference.  You will meet with the instructor to sign the Independent Study Application and receive an add code. The course requires attending the San Diego AEYC conference on October 19th and completion of written assignments.  Below is an overview of the course.
